“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation and that is an act of political warfare.”

  • Self Empowerment: We believe in you. When you are whole, we are all whole.

  • Community Care: When we hold each other accountable, we create a safer, more vulnerable world.

  • Joy is Radical: We believe joy is radical in the face of oppression. There is power in rest, in joy, in honoring your needs.

  • Political is personal: We believe in offering a holistic approach to address cycles of harm. We understand that systems of oppression impact mental wellness.

Our Values

Meet The Founder

Amber has been working in the helping profession since 2010, and directly with clients since 2014 as a school counselor. In 2020 during a time many of us were adjusting, shifting, grieving, and changing internally, she decided to start her transition from school counseling to mental health counseling.

As a black queer human, Amber is dedicated to the liberation of all. She has organized numerous online healing circles since 2020 for QTBIPOC, namely Sunday Survivor Series and New Moon Circles that incorporated Yoga and Meditation. Now she is taking a leap of faith to open her own private practice.

She graduated with her masters in school counseling and mental health counseling from NYU and SUNY Buffalo, respectively. She is a somatic informed and EMDR trained therapist.

And as always with love,

-Amber
